Environmental Assessment

Terra Associates, Inc. employs a team of Environmental Professionals who support the development community by providing environmental assessments so landowners can be in compliance with the appropriate regulatory agencies and local jurisdictions. The following is a list of our Environmental Assessment services.

• Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
  To support our clients’ environmental due diligence requirements, we perform in depth research for development projects and report our finding in accordance with the ASTM Test Designation E-1527-21: Standard Practice for Environmental Site Assessments: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Process.
• Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA)
  When contamination or noncompliance issues are found through the Phase I ESA process, we conduct Phase II Environmental Site Assessments to gather specific data needed for site remediation, submit our findings to the appropriate regulatory agency and assist our clients in aligning with ecological regulations in order to move forward with their projects.
• Groundwater Monitoring
  Terra’s environmental division conducts Groundwater Monitoring services to assess groundwater for potential contamination impacts. Our field staff is trained to collect samples utilizing a variety of methods dependent upon local site conditions.
• Asbestos Surveys
  Asbestos surveys are conducted by our AHERA certified Environmental Professionals to identify visible and accessible asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) prior to demolition or remodel of buildings. Our surveys cater to each individual project, depending upon the size and future use of the site. These surveys are completed in a format that is easy for abatement contractors to develop plans for any required abatement.
• UST (Underground Storage Tank) Assessments
  Our staff is certified to perform UST site assessments required during UST decommissioning and removal activities.
